Important Blue Porcelain Cache Pot, Michelaud Fres Limoges, Galante Scene Decor

Sumptuous and very important cache pot in Limoges porcelain. On a blue background of kiln, our porcelain presents on its two sides two different scenes in the purest style of the 18th century. and bear at the bottom of the decoration the signature of the decorator "Angéli". Each scene is contained in a large reserve delimited by a gold border and decorated with scrolls. The neck is also decorated with a net made of fine gold. This magnificent piece of form comes from the Ateliers de décorations des Frères Michelaud and bears under its reverse the trademark registered in 1911, the workshop was located rue des Arts in Limoges.
