This lithograph “Les Aspects de la Nature - La Falaise” is signed Henri Rivière and bears his stamp with a red stamp at the bottom right, the publisher's stamp at the bottom left. The work is authentic and old. For the condition, note in the margin a tear (0.5 cm) at the top, several small tears on the right with small losses and a vertical fold. We report on the work very small light spots. Light traces on the back. The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be invisible. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
