Oil on oval canvas depicting René Ange de la Guerrande* (1744-1816) in a frock coat, Lord of Ville-Colleu in Matignon (North Brittany), husband of Etiennette de Berthou (daughter of the president of the nobility in the states of Brittany), in a gilded wooden frame decorated with stylized shells and foliage in the corners, from the late 18th century. This painting is in good condition. Annotations on the back of the canvas. This painting comes from the Breton family of la Guerrande.
