Rare children's chair decorated by Benjamin Rabier for Thonet. Very pretty decor representing the fables of La Fontaine, several models have been created with various decors. Here we can see two rabbits on the seat. This decor is handmade bread. Note some wear and tear, see photo. The Thonet type chair in curved wood is in good general condition, note some small insect holes on a foot treated for added safety.
