Very pretty decorative dish in Limoges porcelain entirely hand-painted representing two birds in a naturalistic decor. The outline of our porcelain has a pretty relief work with pearl and staple patterns. It is of a scalloped shape decorated with a border made of fine gold. This dish bears on its reverse the stamp of the Maas Sigismond factory deposited in 1898. This workshop was located at 48 avenue Garibaldi in Limoges from 1891, then at 6 rue de la verrerie from 1924 to 1935. It also bears at the bottom of the decor the signature "Golse", decorator established at 7 rue Saint Surin in Limoges in 1898 then at 9 of the same street from 1899 to 1911.
