Rare Italian architectural style cabinet, in blackened wood and reserves of marbled tortoiseshell, opening with 10 drawers framing a door with 4 columns decorated with a gilded bronze statuette representing a vestal woman and revealing two small drawers, with secret drawers inside, origin Italy (Naples?), from the late 17th-early 18th centuries. This cabinet is in good general condition and is of superb quality. The ornaments are in bronze, chiseled with leafy motifs and cherubs' heads or mascarons. Secret drawers behind the central door.
