Alexandre-René VERON (1826-1897) Winter 1892, Marlotte near Fontainebleau oil on panel signed and dated lower left 26.5x41cm (36x50cm framed) Original frame Very good condition, French landscape painter, member of the Barbizon School. He is the author of admirable views of Fontainebleau, Auvers-sur-Oise, Pontoise, Crécy-en-Brie, Asnières and Argenteuil. A pupil of Paul Delaroche, belonging to the Daubigny followers, he exhibited at the Salon from 1848.
