Large Laterza earthenware dish (Italy) decorated in blue monochrome representing "The elephant hunt" scene topped with a coat of arms, the border decorated with
many animals surrounded by flowering branches. Based on the work of Jan van der Straet called Stradanus (1523-1605) engraved by Galle, Philippe (1537-1612) in Antwerp.
