When the top is opened, two long shelves emerge, held by scalloped uprights on either side.
It rests on two rear pilaster legs and two sumptuous front legs in sculpted lion claw shanks enthroned on the base.
The whole is executed in a very beautiful flamed mahogany particularly highlighted on the top and the plinth.
In the absence of a stamp and in view of its quality of execution, this beautiful piece is to be compared to the creations of Jacob Frères, Pierre-Antoine Bellangé or Bernard Molitor.
Very good state of conservation, perfectly functional. Later green felt, in perfect condition.
Empire-Consulate period, 1800-1810.
