"Gilded Silver Chalice And Its Paten. France Circa 1900, Demarquet Frères And Favier Frères "
Chalice and paten in gilded silver in the neo-Gothic style. Among this decoration, a cross pattée adorns the foot of the chalice. The shaft is tubular, decorated with a collar of pearls and a flattened knot, also with six lobes, decorated on each side with guilloche shells, themselves surrounded by friezes of pearls. The cup, slightly conical in shape and with a straight edge, is set in a saucer with pinnacles which takes up the same ornamentation as the terrace of the foot. Weighted foot. France, circa 1900.
