The art of chiseling and openwork brass is at a very high level.
The whole is engraved with a complete bestiary of these regions: deer, panthers, pheasants, tigers, peacocks, chitals...
It is no less than eight ornate bands, five of which present these animals;
The other three friezes are decorated with epigraphic decorations; plants, flowers and various intertwined leaves.
This piece is openwork on four bands with tiny pierced holes, forming a trellis around the decorations and letting the light filter through the object.
The base is domed and rests on a small rounded part of the underside.
This object can prove precious in a large decoration project, and remains a splendid collector's item as the patina is of such quality.
# Intentionally left in its own juice, it is possible to make this piece shine in all its glory.
This object is in very good condition, from the 19th century.
