German-style hilt with one branch decorated in relief with oak leaves and a large arrow with a plumed helmet, cross decorated with an oval medallion decorated in relief with a head of Medusa; cap with tail engraved with foliage; wooden handle entirely filigree with silver. White blade with a hollow side, simply engraved with trophies of arms and foliage, length 80 cm, width at the heel 3.3 cm, thickness 1 cm. Wooden scabbard covered with black waxed calfskin with two large gilded brass fittings. Brass piton and bail rings. Iron dart. France. Directory - Consulate.
