Charming oil on canvas showing a bucolic landscape in the antique spirit. At the bottom of the composition, we see a naked shepherd, accompanied by a goat and his kid. They are placed in front of a waterfall that cascades down the rocks. At the top of the hill stands a Greek temple, with columns. The whole is set in lush vegetation.
The painting is generally in very good condition. A restoration visible on the back. Discreet reprints in the sky.
The work is signed at the bottom left (signature to be deciphered). It is placed in a modern wooden frame with molding.
