• A marabout coffee pot in silver from the french Restoration period. The slightly truncated body rests on its base. The ogee lid bordered by a net is removable, with a terrace in cast silver with channel leaves topped with a seed. The spout is straight ending in a molding; the handle, riveted, is a blackened turned wood.
• Hallmarks: Master silversmith (none); Title: head of Socrates turned to the left in a truncated oval frame with the number 2 at the bottom right, for the 2nd title of 800 thousandths of the province from August 16, 1819 to May 9, 1838; Guarantee: in an oval, a head of Hercules surrounded by the numbers 4 and (?), large guarantee for the offices of the departments from August 16, 1819 to May 9, 1838: Digne (4), Saint-Etienne (40), Le Puy-en-Velay (41), Nantes (42), Orléans (43), Cahors (44), Agen (45), Mende (46), Angers (47), Saint-Lô (48), Valognes (49).
