Old Painting Portrait Of Children Reading Porcelain Plaque Vogel Kpm Berlin

Beautiful old painting from the 19th century, oil on a curved oval porcelain plate, representing a charming scene animated by two children sitting in a landscape, reading a picture book. Charming composition after the painting by Vogel which evokes the different schools of thought in Europe at that time and the questions of learning and the teaching method to bring out the individual talent of each child. This subject was painted very often on a porcelain plate from the KPM factory in Berlin, but this one being sealed we were not able to verify it. It is mounted on a brass surround and green velvet, in a gilded wooden frame (some missing parts in the frame). The whole in good condition see photos.
