Description: A splendid oil painting depicting a glimpse of Venice, created in the early 20th century and signed “G. Saleghi.” The scene shows a woman holding a child, standing near a man working in a small boat. Behind them, colorful sails fill the water with lively touches, while the arches and facades of Venetian buildings complete the background.
The brushwork is quick yet dense and textured, a technique that imparts movement and vibrancy to the warm, harmoniously blended colors of the composition.
The painting is framed in an original Venetian frame from the period, which enriches and completes the piece, enhancing its historical charm and decorative value.
