"Large Gilt Bronze Centerpiece "
Important centerpiece in gilded bronze from the second half of the 19th century. Base with 4 molded curved sides topped with a rosette and resting on 4 spinning top feet, Veined alabaster cup (rare) decorated around the edge with a molding adorned with bunches of grapes in gilded bronze. Base on the principle of an Athenian with 4 legs encircled with rich garlands of flowers and ending at the top, with 4 aegiranes carrying the basin, and at the bottom, with 4 sabots placed on the base. The basin ends with a cluster of berries in its hanging bud. Excellent condition with very well preserved gilding. Weight 16kg
