This beautiful silk cashmere is in very good condition and has a respective size of 91 cm wide by 156 cm long.
The quality of these beautiful natural silks is no longer to be demonstrated.
One can only be admiring in front of the work and the abundance of patterns, niches, stylized wildflowers, arabesques covering this rug and its borders.
The colors of great softness are composed of an almost chamois red, ivory, straw yellow, pale blue and black causing contrasts while separating the patterns.
The thickness of this carpet is 5 mm, which makes it a flexible piece but whose hold on the ground is stiffened by the density of the knots.
This carpet in natural silk on fine cotton, hand-knotted around 1970 is in superb condition.
A slight wear gives it a beautiful patina that enthusiasts appreciate.
The region of Srinagar in Kashmir is where these wonders are produced and where they were produced, silk on silk or silk on cotton.
