Rare large side-by-side flintlock shotgun, by Ketland in London or Birmingham.Exceptional condition, mechanisms in perfect working order, barrel and stock in superb walnut, marked Ketland on the plates and London between the two barrels.
Comes from a very old family from the southwest of France, a label stuck on the stock gives the name of its former owner who lived in Louisiana: Geoffroy Daspit de Saint-Amand or his brother Alexandre.
It measures approximately 1.46 m and weighs around 4 kg.
