CZAPSKA TROUPE OF THE 5TH REGIMENT OF LANCER, model 1858, Second Empire. 29392 Bomb in black patent leather in one piece, assembled on the front by a seam with joined edges and large overlock stitches, H at the front 11 cm, H at the back 12.5 cm. The bomb is topped with a cardboard flag of 14 sheets of laid paper, cylindered and made waterproof, on which a gray percaline is glued. The flag is made up of four pieces cut into a trapezoid, 20 cm wide at the top and 9 cm at the bottom. The four pieces are assembled by their concavity and this assembly is supported on the inside by a strong reed stick. The flag is topped with a square imperial 20 cm on each side. The pavilion is covered with dark blue canvas, all the edges are decorated with a 3 mm wide scarlet wool braid. At its base, a 3.5 cm wide scarlet wool braid "cul de dé" is sewn. The right front pavilion is decorated with a metal cockade stamped in the shape of a radiant sun lacquered in tricolor, diameter 4.3 cm. The corners of the pavilions are decorated with four brass corners. Black patent leather visor, edged with a 1.6 cm wide brass reed, folded astride the outer edge and fixed at both ends by a brass screw. The reed is stamped "563.5?) (last digit illegible)". Brass front plate stamped with a radiant sun, semi-elliptical shape, H 16 cm, width 23.5 cm. In the lower part the number "5" is stamped on a plain background. Brass chain in the shape of a curb chain, length 48 cm, width 1.3 cm, mounted on a scarlet cloth. Stamped brass rosettes in the shape of a lion's head, H 4.7 cm, which holds the suspension hook in its mouth. Inner headdress in dark brown waxed sheepskin cut into nine wolf teeth.
