"Antique Pearls Gold Earrings"
We are presenting a nice pair of antique earrings from Sicily half of the 19th century full of hundreds of small natural pearls. They have the shape of a full-round bell with multiple pendants and a big pearl in the middle. On the Top a round element. The whole is very elegant and nice to wear. Despite the age they are in good condition. From Sicily, half of the 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). An old hallmark is on the hooks. Small natural pearls was fished by the Sicilians in the east mediterranean coasts and used also for jewellery since the Middle Age.
