"Gabriel Muñoz García (1936) - A Mediterranean Garden"
- Oil on canvas. - Gabriel Muñoz García was born in Malaga in 1936. From a very young age he felt attracted to drawing and painting, but due to the precarious family situation he was forced to start working from a very young age. It was after his marriage that he decided to teach drawing and painting classes at the Obra Sindical de Educación y Descanso that, in those years, the artist Alfonso de la Torre taught, for four years (two of drawing and two of coloring), he perfected from the theoretical and practical level his innate and intuitive way of painting. Encouraged by his teacher who saw in Muñoz García an exceptional student, he prepared his first individual exhibition. This was carried out in 1968 at the Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Malaga. From that date, Muñoz García began an intense activity of impressionist configuration always in contact with nature, his workshop was the open air and his instruments were the brushes, the easel and his oil paintings. - Dimensions of the image without frame: 25 x 20 cm / 37 x 32 cm with magnificent framing. - It comes from a private collection of paintings in Malaga. - Good general condition.
