"Early 19th Century Pedestal Table Attributed To Jj Chapuis"
Very elegant pedestal table in amboyna veneer and blackened wood, with a circular top, the belt with a slight recess, standing on four arched legs inlaid with fillets, joined on a plinth base with a square section with concave sides, supported by four small pads (small accidents).
Early 19th century.
Good condition.
The great modernity of this pedestal table, the details brought in particular to the work of the belt as well as the similarity of the arched legs found on several consoles by Jean-Joseph Chapuis, make us attribute this table to the famous master.
