Important bronze representing a lion devouring a horse. Very beautiful quality of casting, chiselling and patina. Cast from a single piece, the base in Carrara marble was made for this bronze, the horse's tail goes down on one side as well as a hoof which is of the most beautiful effect. French work around 1730/1760 after an antique model
