Odette du Bosch was born Odette Misermont in 1903 in Limoges and died in 1993. She lived in Algeria from 1925 to 1962 with her husband Gérard Du Bosch, an industrialist. She was a student of the famous Flemish painter Emile Deckens. The first part of her work reveals her love for Algeria and orientalism. After her return to France in 1962 in her native Limousin, many exhibitions are devoted to her works, she was honorary president of the Artists of Limousin. Many awards testify to her talent.
