"Early 19th Century Sheet Metal Warmer"
Rare plate warmer in sheet metal and brass trim from the very beginning of the 19th century (Empire period). It opens with 2 doors on the front revealing 2 pierced sheet metal shelves and a reservoir for embers at the bottom. Its upper part, in the shape of a bowl, received the dishes to be kept warm. Its pierced octagonal base, its 2 brass transport rings and its large faceted glass button make it a very decorative object. Above all, a utilitarian object, a slight dent in the brass at the lower rear part should be noted but it remains in very good condition and rare. Height 78 cm Diameter 34 cm
