Object description :

"Still Life Of Flowers. 17th/18th Century"
Very beautiful old still life. It seems close to some works by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer, in which we find in particular this bouquet shape with the same blue bow. We can clearly see the grain of the canvas, which is old (17th, even 18th century). The painting has been relined. Restoration is needed to: - lighten the old, yellowed varnish. - treat some lifting in the center of the painting (no missing parts) The work is sold as is. Very elegant old frame. Small missing part in the lower left corner, which we are in the process of having restored. To properly attribute this painting, a study would be necessary. Perhaps it is a Dutch work. Dimensions: painting 39.5 x 31.5 cm with the frame: 48 x 39 cm (measured at the corners) Do not hesitate to contact us for more information or additional photographs at 06 25 50 83 24, or at 06 08 92 54 55
