"18th Century Rotisserie Spit"
Rotisserie, wrought iron spit from the 18th century. Manual winding mechanism by crank driven by a counterweight actuating the rotation of the spit by gears. Perfectly functional, it is in very good condition (the pinions do not show any wear). This type of utensil was present in the kitchens of bourgeois houses or in castles. French work from the 18th century in Louis XIV style.
