François Théodore Devaulx (1808 - 1871) - Bronze Seated Woman Bronze representing a seated woman carrying a book "De Nature Rerum" Signature Devaulx Dating from 1847 François Théodore Devaulx (or Théodore-François Devaulx) is a French sculptor, student of Jules Ramey (1796-1852) at the Beaux Arts in Paris. He won the 2nd Prix de Rome in 1833. He participated in the Salon des artistes français. Visible at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
