Beautiful 19th century engraving, well framed under glass in its oval frame gilded with gold leaf.
This is the self-portrait of the painter Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641) and the portrait of his English patron Endymion Porter (1587-1649).
It is the only self-portrait of van Dyck in which the artist is represented with another person.
This shows how strong is the relationship with Endymion Porter whom he met in 1620 during his first trip to London.
Condition: good condition, in its own juice, unframed, slight wear on the frame (see photos).
