"Boulle Marquetry Tea Box"
Tea box from the Napoleon 3 period (1852-1870) with cut sides. Boulle marquetry in engraved brass and red tortoiseshell on 2 sides (top and front). Rosewood interior. Slightly domed lid. Two compartments with their closures; 2 compression lids and 2 closure lids in rosewood decorated with ivory fillets. Key and lock work perfectly.
