" African Tapestry, Woven, In The North Of Bamako Composed Of Strips Of Cotton Sewn, Edge To Edge "
Tapestry woven in the north of Bamako composed of strips of hand-woven cotton fabric sewn edge to edge on which a true African artist painted with a plant hanging characters, a bird and a fantastic animal straight out of his dreams. The tapestry, given its artisanal side, is fragile and in average condition, but this does not alter its great pictorial quality (see photographs). Its design is a reflection of his First Arts so dear to Braque and Picasso, among others.
