Superb small cabinet forming a library in oak and ash burl, Bresse region, mid-19th century. It rests on two straight legs at the back and two arched legs at the front. It opens on the front with two leaves, each composed of two branched panels in ash burl and a window in the upper part. These three elements are held in an oak frame, the crosspieces have a beautiful undulation with a soft and elegant line. The top of each door is carved with a daisy resting on a stem with lanceolate leaves, the frame of the left door is decorated with a pretty sculpture with Bressans motifs and blackened in the grooves.
