Curious photo album from the beginning of the 20th century concerning the religious life of communes in the department of Orne. Convent of young girls with theatrical performances, church works, seminars, portraits, group trips with priests etc... There is even a photo of clashes following the separation of the church and the state and the law on congregations. Very interesting album that would deserve some research work.
