A fine Canton enamel tea caddy and cover. Finely decorated on one side with two ladies and children on a terrace. The reverse with two ladies and a boy in a country setting. The sides with a lakeside landscape and peonies in bloom among rockeries. Qianlong Mid 18th century.Condition; small chip in one filled corner. Filled area of 1.5 cm on shoulder .Filled area of lid rim of 2.5 cm with chips and cracks. Seam flaw in lower part of copper body.
