A RARE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT-BRONZE AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRAVEL CLOCK. The case in the style of an officer's clock, ornamentally enamelled, with a scrolling swivel handle, on four spinning top feet. The twelve-piece enamelled dial with Roman numerals, with push-piece repeater above. The twin-barrel clock-type movement with lever platform escapement, striking on a spiralled steel gong. The back plate marked 'PARIS 1720', 26cm high.
