"Louis XVI Half Moon Console In Gilded Wood And White Marble, Early 20th Century"
Louis XVI style half-moon console in carved and gilded wood in the neoclassical style. It is set on two fluted and rudenté legs meeting on a spacer with an urn. The belt carved with pearls, flutes and heart stripes. The top of the front uprights in Ionic capitals. White Carrara marble top. This console is made at the beginning of the 20th century, around 1910-1920, but respects the codes of 18th century proportions with very fluid and pure lines. The leaf gilding is of good quality with a very beautiful patina. Some slight lacks of gilding here and there re-patinated, one handle of the urn glued back on. Stained and scratched marble top (see photo). Delivery in a wooden crate on a pallet by carrier on the ground floor in front of your home, 250 euros in France, 500 euros in the EU and 1000 euros rest of the world.
