Beautiful Mammoth molar Molar of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth), dating from the Pleistocene, period estimated between 40,000 and 10,000 years before our era, corresponding to the last ice age. This fossil, from Périgord, testifies to the presence of these large pachyderms in the landscapes of Western Europe at that time.
