"Marquetry Cabinet Louis XVI Period"
Marquetry cabinet in rosewood veneer, framed with Greek fillets, and decorated with simulated grooves on the uprights.
It opens two sliding doors, three small drawers, a pivoting writing top, and a large belt drawer.
It is stamped with Fidelys Schey, Master in 1777, under the left crossbar of the piece of furniture.

Louis XVI period. 18th century.
Fidelys Schey, a prolific cabinetmaker, established himself on rue du fg St Antoine, where he produced Transition and especially Louis XVI furniture.
