"Gold And Diamond Quran Pendant, 19th Century"
Very pretty Quran holder from the Ottoman period in 18 carat gold consisting of a book with two faces, one centered with fine diamonds bearing the inscription Allah in a surround on a superimposed plate of Islamic motifs in low cut. The other face entirely pierced and surrounded by interlaced motifs is centered with the inscription Allah in small diamonds in a surround of low cut enamels bordering a central white ring.
