Good condition - some cracks

on of Léon Printemps, he was a student of Louis Roger, Pierre and Paul-Albert Laurens, at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1929 to 1938. He represented many marine subjects: scenes of ports, Noirmoutier, Brittany, the Mediterranean… But also lakes and mountain corners like Lake Annecy or the mountain around Chamonix. Our painting would rather be part of these second subjects, with a low mountain landscape, in spring. The colors used are bright and the touch rather free, which offers a luminous rendering, accentuated by a whole range of greens in the background. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes français in Paris. The state has acquired Paysage breton (ref.: Benezit).
