Frank-Boggs is an American artist born in 1855 in Springfield (Ohio). He died in 1926 in Meudon 5 Hauts de Seine). 19th-20th centuries. Active and naturalized in France. Painter of urban landscapes, seascapes, watercolorist, engraver, draftsman. He was a student of Jean-Léon Gérome at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In Paris too, he exhibited regularly until the end of his life at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he received several distinctions. His works can be seen in several museums, Boston, Montreal, Nantes, New York and Niort. He is of course very well referenced in many works. The watercolor measures 55 cm x 33.5 cm. To be framed.
