The service is comprised of 12 Knives with Silver handles embelished with rich double-sided decoration on an amati ground, and original stainless steel blades signed "PUIFORCAT". Each handle is punched with the French "Boar Head" Standard Hallmark, and mark of Master Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT (Hallmark with the initials "EP" and a penknife) received in 1857.
