Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork, recently restored, depicting a painting from the Brescia school, Madonna with child and St. John of excellent pictorial quality. Painting of beautiful size and proportion adorned with a wooden stick on the edge placed during the restoration phase. Painting inspired by the masterpiece of Alessandro Bonvicino known as Moretto (1498-1554) The Holy Family of the Carrara Academy. Painting that develops horizontally, very well painted clothes and delicate faces of the characters. As we have already indicated, the artwork has undergone a conservative restoration, repainting of the color in small spots, relining and replacement of the frame (see photo). It is in good condition. Internal size H 59 x W 70 cm.
