"Louis Majorelle Side Table 1900 "
Louis Majorelle 1859-1926 This two-tiered side table is composed of: An upper tray has a floral marquetry (oak leaves & vines) in Ebony, Rosewood, boxwood and Orne on a background in Andean Padouk The spacer tray has the same marquetry theme as the upper tray but it is decorated on its ends with brass handles The table rests on 4 legs turned on their upper part and ending in a curve, representing the famous whiplash line of the Art Nouveau style Table from the 1900/1920 period Table completely restored in our workshop
