Religiosa : 19th Century Reliquary Paperwork

A very pretty piece of 19th century religious paper, made from white paper or paper tinted with blue and red watercolour, with gold-painted borders. The central element is a representation of Saint Francis. Surrounding it are the relics of 6 saints: pieces of bone surmounted by their names inscribed on paper. The whole is mounted on red silk fabric, the colour of which has lightened with age and exposure to light.

Condition: good. Note: the fabric is sunburnt and fragile, and one rod is missing (probably due to a blow).
