This sculpture of the Immaculate Virgin Conception with a face full of finesse and small size compared to the slender body places it as a Rococo work of French origin.
Richly dressed in the style of the period in an ample red and green coat and a long pleated dress decorated with small flowers, she is, in a contrapposto movement, standing on the terrestrial globe which rests on an effect base marble.
At her feet is the snake which holds an apple, symbol of sin and which she is going to crush.
Original polychromy
Missing arms, feet and base and slit on the front.
