Old fireproof cast iron travel safe from the north-east of France (Gueux, Marne).

It is decorated with nail reinforcements around its edges and two pretty handles on each side allow it to be easily lifted.
On the door, there is a crowned medallion in which there is a cross and around which the name of the brand and the serial number are inscribed.
Above the safe, there is the inscription INCOMBUSTIBLE SYSTEME BAUCHE, BREVETE SGDG USINE A GUEUX MARNE in a rocaille cartouche.

Inside, it still has its original felt, it opens with a door and the lock is in good condition with its original key.

This very vintage safe will be perfect for storing valuables at home but can also be used as a base or as a decorative accessory.
