Unique sitting chair or hand sculpture, probably Mexico circa 1960. Finely carved details, lifelines, nails and folds. The front of the base is carved with vines and the back with heavily rubbed fluting. Very heavy, made from a single piece of carved hardwood. Finished in high gloss polished black lacquer. In the style of Pedro Friedeberg. Probably carved in a studio in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, circa 1960.
