Pretty Pair Of Bookends, Spelter And Lacquered Wood, Art Deco, Dog And Cat, Marble

Very nice pair of bookends, resting on a black marble base veined with white and yellow. It represents a cat and a dog in spelter, playing with a white lacquered wooden ball. Very nice pattern, iconic of the Art Deco period.
Good general condition. Note some breaks and old restorations on the marble bases, well mentioned on my detailed photos, please look at them carefully, I am not hiding anything. European working, France or Germany, dating from the Art Deco period, Circa 1925-1950. Dimensions: bases 14cm x 10.5cm H
